About the Artist

Jim Holt has studied at Photographic Center North West, a fine arts photography school in Seattle, Washington since 2002. Working primarily in black and white, Jim's major subject interest is the human community. "My objective is to find in any given place, at any given time, extraordinary, never-to-be-repeated moments, capturing them to share with others." Jim works his craft seeking urban scenic and street moments, carefully controlling each step of the process, from shooting, through film development and creating the final print. All work displayed here is available in various dimensions printed on museum quality fiber-based papers to archival standards.
